Sage Goldsbury is a competitive surfer from Australia. She lives on a small Island just off the South coast of Victoria.
Stemming from a family of surfers who love spending time at the beach, both Sage’s parents taught her to surf and she has been doing it for as long as I can remember!
Sage loves spending time with her friends surfing and skating, but the challenge and excitement of competitive surfing is what motivates her to progress and to work hard to become the best she can be.
Q&A WITH SAGE:
Favorite place to travel: My favourite place to travel is Indonesia. It has such an incredible variety of awesome waves and super warm water.
Best moment in your career: Representing Australia at the ISA World Junior Surfing Championships was one of my favourite moments. Travelling with the Australian team and wearing our uniform made me feel so proud.
Favorite things to do when you’re not riding: I love to skate when I’m not surfing. I have a small half pipe in my backyard that I skate heaps when the surf isn’t very good.
Fashion essentials: When I’m not in a wetsuit, I love wearing a pair of wide leg pants with my bikinis. I can’t live without a cosy hoodie for winter.
Favorite moment with ROXY: My favourite moment with ROXY has to be Disco Yoga at sunset on the beach at Snapper Rocks. It was so much fun with all the girls, we were laughing and dancing all night!
